Work

Our specialties are graphic design, animation, and usability.

Design fulfils a specific purpose and solves problems. People who can’t decipher your message will not get in touch with you. Likewise, buyers frustrated by poorly designed products will not recommend them to others. Hence our motto “Design Problems are Business Problems.” We have solutions.

Clients

Below is a selection of agencies and clients we already worked for:

Client Image

Interaction Design for a Showroom
Commissioned by Immensive, we developed the visual concept, user experience, and all animations for Swissmint’s showroom and sales space. The commemorative coins are displayed behind a transparent touch display and can be individually illuminated through custom software. By tapping on a coin, an information window opens with additional details and a large 3D rendering of the coin, which can be freely rotated with a finger gesture. Our services:

Logodesign
Yuro is a startup in Switzerland, specialising in intelligent robot vision systems. Its first product will be a mobile robotic arm designed for use in the healthcare sector. The client’s objective was for the logo to visually reflect both the theme of physical manipulation by robots and the aspect of robot vision. Typographically, the logo is based on the OCR-A typeface (the first machine-readable typeface), which has been visually refined and altered in its proportions. In addition, the letter “Y” was deliberately modified so that it resembles a two-finger gripper, further emphasising the technological character. Our services for this project:

Logo- and Broadcast-Design
Commissioned by Philadelphia Medien, a logo and opener were created for the TV show “Architektour” which can be watched on SAT.1 and the streaming platform Joyn. Many logo drafts and motion variants were produced. In the end, the client chose something very simple. Our services:

Logodesign
Sandra Föhn is a body therapist and needed a professional identity for her practice. Her motto is “completely in alignment” and so the symbols for the sun, moon and plumb line were used to create an abstract female figure with her arms stretched upwards, suggesting openness, symmetry and a healthy posture. Our services for this project:

We designed the stage visuals for “Vivaldi Reloaded” by the Zürcher Kammerorchester on behalf of Swisscom Event & Media Solutions. Discover more about the project and read a review by the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) by clicking the button below!

Logodesign
On behalf of Red Hat Switzerland, we designed the concept, logo and animation for an internal software project at a major Red Hat customer. The new software platform Minerva is designed to help developers create new projects from modules more quickly and easily. We were inspired by the idea of building blocks for the design. Software development “As easy as 1-2-3”. The sound design for the animation was created by Dave Ponzio and emphasises the concept of the building blocks through the clicking sounds. Our services:

Event-Design
On behalf of Habegger AG, we created this opener animation for the chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut for their 26th General Assembly. We were also entrusted with the graphic preparation of all presentations and other content for the event. The sound design for the opener was created by Dave Ponzio. Our services included:

Event-Design
On behalf of Event Manufaktur, we created a 360° projection for the 40th anniversary of Polynorm Software AG, which took place at Aura Zurich. The motto of the event was “The secret of the nightshades”, and the animated jungle of chilli plants was created in line with this idea.

Nubero One

Type Design
Nubero One is a pixel font that comes in two variants: LCD and CRT. While LCD is as crisp as one would expect from a pixel font, CRT slightly blurred to evoke the impression of an old cathode ray tube screen. The font has many alternative letterforms and ligatures, comes with a 20-page PDF booklet and can be downloaded for free from the microsite.

For Swissgrid, commissioned by Aroma, we designed the user interface and animations for an interactive touch table. Our services in this project included:

Dolder Hotel AG

Illustration
The Dolder Hotel AG needed icons to symbolise its values to be used for internal presentations and staff training. The keywords and colours were specified by Dolder.

Motion Design
The Spital Uster (Uster Hospital) is producing more and more audiovisual content for which they needed a corporate motion design. With this design kit, the videos produced by Spital Uster come across as fresher and more professional. The jingle was composed by Christian Riesen.

We wanted to standardise the look of our videos with a graphic package. Nuberodesign understood our need immediately, presented a convincing solution proposal and implemented the resulting motion design elements perfectly. Now our videos look more professional and are easily recognisable.

Spital Uster

Editorial Design
Nuberodesign designed three brochures for the Spital Limmattal (Limmattal Hospital), in which the service levels in the various insurance categories are better explained to patients. The brochures follow a colour code: Blue for patients with general insurance, blue and gold for patients with semi-private insurance and gold for patients with private insurance. We were responsible for:

Spital Limmattal Icons

Illustration
These illustrations were originally created for a gift box. Long-standing employees of Spital Limmattal (Limmattal Hospital) receive these on milestone anniversaries. However, the illustrations can also be arranged as an endless pattern and thus used as a graphic texture for all kinds of purposes.

Branding & Motion Design
We created this corporate motion design for the film productions of Uster Technologies. It consists of the above logo animation and many other elements such as scene-separators and lower thirds. The jingle was composed by Christian Riesen. Read more about the creation of this project on our blog.

Marty + Partner Christmas Cards

Illustration
The engineering firm Marty + Partner AG specialises in the fields of traffic, control and systems technology. The company is often associated with traffic technology for cars and wanted to break out of this perception. We therefore designed five icons for the company which show that Marty + Partner’s projects take all road users into account. The icons are used by Marty + Partner in their presentations and also appear on their Christmas cards every year.

Animation
The Swisscom Games are a Swisscom employee event for which we were able to create this opener. Swisscom’s graphics department had already designed the graphics at the end of the film for the invitations. Our task was to turn that key visual into an opening animation. Sound design by Dave Ponzio.
